Ernie is a 4-month old crested/beagle mix pulled from a shelter on Christmas eve, and given a second chance through rescue. We're excited to get ot know him better but so far we know he's

sweet
cuddly
playful
and cute cute cute

Ernie loves toys that squeak, and bones to chew on. He's a good boy, generally calm and no destructive habits. He's picking up "sit" right away and looks at you, listens carefully, and wants to please. He loves to flop upside down on the couch and snore away. 

He enjoys going on walks and is friendly meeting strangers. He is being fostered with cats and other dogs, and everybody gets along just great. He is very submissive to the other dogs and looks to them for leadership. 

We know Ernie was in a home with kids before ending up in the shelter, and so we're sure he'd be a great family dog.
