Meet Hijinks, a hairless Chinese Crested, about 7 years old and 10 pounds of cuddly sweetness. We just adore this happy, playful boy! He is one of the most hilarious, entertaining dogs... makes his foster mom laugh every day with his antics. He is seriously adorable.

Jinx loves his squeaky toys. He will chase and fetch, or sometimes likely grab and hide his toys somewhere safe. He has a little cave in the bushes in the yard for outside toys, and his crate is his haven for inside toys. It's so cute how excited he gets when he hears that squeaky sound! He never EVER gets tired of playing with squeaky toys.

Jinx loves cuddles. When you pick him up and hold him, he goes into a zen state of relaxation, his head rolls back, and he surrenders totally to the lovin'. It's adorable. He also loves to nuzzle into your neck if you're holding him, or if he's on the couch, he'll rub all over you, like a cat. He just basks in pets and cuddles. He is a gem.

When alone in the house, Jinx is crated. He really likes his crate and will sometimes go there on his own when given an option of where to hang out. He finds a lot of security in his space and is clean in his crate. He sleeps there at night and when his foster mom's away from the house, quietly and happily with his toys.

Jinx is not at all a fan of the leash and so he takes care of his potty business like a champ in the yard.

Hijinks is a little nervous with strangers and just needs a calm introduction where they ignore him and he'll come to them on his terms. He is actually quite friendly when treats are involved!

He gets along fine with the dogs in his foster home, and has even started to play with the group at times. He wll bark if the other dogs get too rambunctious, but he does respond well to correction. He would be fine as an only dog or with a smaller pack. He's doing very well on house manners, thanks to his regular crating and frequent trips outside. Every time he goes outside, he pees right away. Such a good boy!

We can see his confidence growing every day, and do see that wonderful potential for his future. However, because he can still be nervous in new situations, he's not recommended for a home with young children or a lot of people coming and going. Because he still will not potty on a leash, he also needs a fenced in yard.
