If you're looking for a sweet, slightly shy, itty bitty lap dog who loves to give butterfly kisses, Thelma may just be your girl. She is an American Hairless Terrier, just shy of three years old, and being fostered in Maine.

Her soulful eyes are definitely a window to her gentle soul within. Due to her size and fragility Thelma would do best in a quieter adult environment. It doesn't appear she has been exposed to a lot of things in life, so her forever parent will need to be patient, and willing to work with her through her journey of discovering the world.

Thelma will go potty outside on a schedule and also has used pee pads in her foster home as she recovers from her spay. House training is not complete, but she is making good progress.

She is still gaining confidence so has not exhibited her true personality as yet. She has shown a super cute play bow toward me and spins when happy. She seems to co- exist with the bigger dogs in her foster home, but does not interact as yet. She has a sister in the foster home as well and gets along well with her.
