Sweet Carmela is a hairy hairless Chinese Crested girl, estimated at four years old and just a darling little girl. She is being fostered along with a pack of several other Chinese Crested dogs, and is getting along great with everyone.

Carmela is very attentive and does learn from watching other dogs. It took her a couple of days to settle in but she is very playful with the other girls and has found a buddy with her foster-sister Bailey.

Carmela does not like the crate and so we have let her find her comfort spot which is on the couch. She is not one to be totally covered but will nest in a bunch of blankets.

She is funny, playful, and has a spirited bouncy gait. Carmela has a great appetite and so far we have not noticed any food aggression because she eats with all the others without problems.

We are working on her house breaking skills of which she does make mistakes if we don't catch the "I gotta go" signals. She does go out and run and play with the others. Her foster home is working on pottying outside and also using pee-pads inside.

Carmela loves to be with her human at night. She is a love bug for sure and craves attention. She can be a drama Queen and scream out when her foster dad tries to pick her up but is docile with her foster mom. But with even that she will come right to her daddy and snuggle, so the crying is hard to figure!

The foster home does not have children but we think she would be OK with a family with other cresties, small dogs and/or older children. Carmela has a lot of LOVE to give to that special family.
