Emmett is in a foster home where he lives with both small and large dogs and cats. His adult dog mentors are currently a Standard Schnauzer male and Standard Poodle female. Emmett is leash-trained and loves going for walks. He has mastered stairs and the leash but is still working on house training and knows to eliminate outside if frequently provided the opportunity. Once he's in his own home with individual attention his house training will continue to improve.

Emmett will greet you with a roooing. He is good in his crate and sleeps through the night. Puppies at this age are teething and they enjoy using Nyla bones or Kongs to chew on. We do not advocate rawhide, billysticks, hooves or snouts as these can be messy, smelly and cause digestive problems. Avoid plastic toys. Emmett enjoys soft squeeky toys and pull ropes for tug or war. He will also retrieve a ball and come on recall.

Emmett is a very handsome boy with stunning white cream color hair that requires weekly combing. Chinese Crested Powder Puff hair doesn’t shed so it can be allowed to grow long with frequent maintenance or clipped short for less care. While Emmett is a bouncy, playful puppy he is also thoughtful and attentive. True to the Chinese Crested nature Emmett loves to cuddle and will make a loving companion.

Bald is Beautifuls goal is to find the best possible match for the dogs in our rescue, and often we receive more than application for a dog. In cases where we receive multiple qualified applications for this puppy, priority will be given to homes that meet the following criteria: families where the primary care giver(s) will be home to spend a great deal of time with the dog; puppies should not be left home alone for longer than four hours at a time. Homes dedicated to proper socialization and training, to help this puppy grow into a well-balanced dog.
