Twinkles is a purebred American Hairless Terrier puppy born on Memorial Day 2011. She is an owner/breeder surrender, being fostered in Indiana. Please read about the AHT breed, so you know about their traits. They are first a terrier. They are totally hairless, so will need protection from the elements. "An intelligent, social and energetic working breed, the American Hairless Terrier is often listed as a potential good breed choice for allergy sufferers."

Twinkles is very shy to new people. She is very bonded to me as her caretaker. She needs to be socialized, which I am working on. Twinkles is potty trained and is used to a crate at feeding time. She is getting along fine with other dogs, and will play with them. Twinkles needs company!  She has been around children, but I wouldn't reccommend small children under 10. Not real sure about cats, as she barks at our barn cats. We are working on leash training; so a fenced yard would be a priority. Twinkles will need some type of stimulation to keep her busy; agility training would be great!

Twinkles is now spayed, and is up to date on her shots. She is a unique little girl who loves to snuggle.
