Ziti epitomizes the term "Grand Dame". She is an older lady and quickly assumes the role of family matriarch. Don't let her age fool you though, since coming to BisB she has become quite playful and behaves as excited as a "school girl at the mall". She has much love to give and loves to get a kiss on her cheek and a little conversation too. She loves to chat.

She is good with dogs, cats and children, showing little interest in any of the three. Once she is kept on a schedule she shows proper potty etiquette. After an initial protest she walks well on a leash. Ziti prefers to sleep under the covers in the bed with her person but will settle for her own blanket or bed on top of the covers. When left at home or most any time she does not do well being crated or confined in any way. She does well when she is able to move around and just finds a place to curl up and wait for your return so she can greet you at the door.

Ziti likes to be on a lap or right next to her person although she will occasionally go to a bed in an open crate for some personal time. She would do best with a family that has someone at home more often than not. She has had a tough life thus far and deserves to live the rest of it with love and affection. Ziti is very special, smart and affectionate and would bring such to joy to anyone willing to give an old girl a forever home.
