Carmela

March 8, 2019

For all my family and friends and especially the Bald is Beautiful Animal Rescue Family it is with a very sad heart that our Carmela crossed over the Rainbow Bridge at 1015am 3-8-2019. She was our drama queen and she will be missed so much! She had 2 types of cancer that just sucked the life out of her. she was strong through it all. Run free our sweet baby with all the others that have gone before you! Mom & Dad LOVE YOU!

Cecil

October 1, 2019

We said goodbye last night to Cecil. He had an eye removed last week but wasn't seeing from the other plus couldn't hear well. Vomiting every day. The vet said internally he was very sick so we all made the decision to free him from the pain. We will miss this little man so much. Thank you Bald is Beautiful for the opportunity to spend his last 5+ years with us.

Cersei

July 28, 2020

We are sad to share this Rainbow Bridge update, but we join Cersei's family in celebrating her amazing life! She was part of the TX13 group (her name was Harper) and settled into her retirement years in Pennsylvania.

As with many of the girls in that group, Cersei was older and came with some old-lady health issues. Mom shared,

"When we first adopted her she was really spunky. But soon the cancer and Cushings disease and cataracts in both eyes set in. She had many vet appointments and surgery and medicines. However, we could still see glimpses of her spunk.

She loved baking in the sun and wearing dresses. She would stand on her back legs and make beggy paws! She loved her Darth Vader toy and her blankets. She hated to be left behind on family walks but would be too tired so we bought her a puppy coach. She loved her sisters both human and 4 legged. She had to be on my lap at all times but would let everyone hold her.

She was awesome and our puck misses her dearly. Her nickname was Derp Derp and when we called her that her tail would wag and she would find her way to us."

We send a special hug to the Wilsons, and a huge thank you to everyone who is willing to adopt a senior dog. They deserve to live out their final years surrounded by love, however long they have. You guys did everything to help her, and we know that Cersei felt your love every single day.

Chance (f. Dancer)

August 16, 2016

Chance (f. Dancer) was diagnosed with an immune disorder and was not able to win the fight. His mom reports that in the two short years they had him he brought joy to their lives and will be forever in their hearts.

Chopski

November 30, 2020

Please send some special thoughts towards Chopski and his foster parents, Tammy Lynn and Bruce. He has been with them in sanctuary care since 2019, and today, after a recent decline in heart health, he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Poor Chopski had a very rough start in life and was abandoned when he started getting old and sick. We think he was at least 15 years old, and despite his age, and was a tough little firecracker. He loved his foster parents, snuggling, and yummy treats. He will be missed.
